Saskia Brown
BHlth Sc(Nat), DipRM, BA(Hons)

Saskia has had a life-long interest in natural health care stemming from her childhood where she enjoyed frequenting various complementary health care practitioners and health food stores.

Saskia completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997 and then in 1998 undertook an Honours research degree specialising in Chinese politics and human rights. This enabled her to gain a broad perspective of the world which was crucial to informing her strong belief-system of equality, justice and human rights. After working in various government departments as well as the tertiary education sector she felt compelled to gain a more ‘hands-on’ approach to improving people’s health and quality of life. She therefore embarked on a degree in Naturopathy.

Saskia completed her Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy at the University of Western Sydney in 2006. Her naturopathic modalities of study included herbal medicine, nutrition, flower essences, iridology and remedial massage.

Whilst completing her studies of Naturopathy she was employed at the Modern Apothecary as a Naturopathic Assistant. She has also gained extensive experience advising people on a wide array of health concerns whilst employed at a health food shop over the past three years. Saskia continues to be committed to providing the best possible health care advice in order to empower individuals to achieve complete physical, mental and emotional health.
